Government Candidates to Present Plans to National Assembly Committees

On Monday, government candidates will present their plans to the competent committees of the National Assembly. The schedule anticipates approximately three to four hours for each presentation. The initial presentations will commence at 9:00 a.m.

with Monika Kirbiš Rojs, the candidate for Minister of Local Government, Cohesion and Regional Development, and Tone Kajzer, the candidate for Minister of Foreign and European Affairs. Following this, Franci Mato, candidate for Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, and Polona Rifelj, candidate for Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, will deliver their plans. The afternoon session will feature the presentations of Mihaela Zupančič, candidate for Minister of Justice, and Suzana Lep Šimenko, candidate for Minister without portfolio, responsible for relations with Slovenes abroad and at home.

The final presentation scheduled for Monday will be that of the candidate for Minister of Demography, Family and Social Affairs. These meetings represent the first stage in the vetting process for potential ministers.
