The baby and the toddler drank beer by the lake, witnesses called the police

Witnesses reported an incident on Saturday at Kaulsdorf lake in Berlin, where a group of adults were observed giving alcohol to two young children. Reports indicated that both the infant, who was approximately eight months old, and a three-year-old child were drinking from a beer bottle. The lake was reportedly crowded yesterday, coinciding with severe summer heat across Berlin, with temperatures reaching around 40 degrees Celsius.

Berlin police intervened at the scene and subsequently launched an investigation targeting five individuals of Serbian origin, aged 18, 19, 20, 23, and 25. These suspects reportedly included the parents of both children. Media sources stated that one of the fathers admitted to police that he had provided the infant with a bottle of Corone.

Social workers and police officers were present at the location, where they conducted interviews with the parents. Rescue workers examined the children and subsequently transported them to a hospital for observation. The incident prompted immediate police action following public reports concerning the minors.

The investigation continues into the circumstances surrounding the alleged intoxication of the baby and the younger child at the popular gathering spot.
