Mango Vice-President Resigns Amidst Legal Proceedings
Jonathan Andic, vice-president of the Mango administrative board, has announced his resignation from the position, citing the need to concentrate on his defense. The announcement, delivered in an open letter to Mango group staff, follows a complex legal situation involving accusations against him. Andic stated that “a public story was created based on a partial, context-free and distorted view, which created the impression of guilt that has nothing to do with reality.” He expressed sadness at the decision but maintained it was ultimately beneficial for both the company and himself.
He intends to “submit himself to this process calmly and decisively,” dedicating his efforts to proving his innocence. Andic strongly refuted the accusation that he killed his father, describing it as “the worst, unjust and unfounded.”
Following a sentencing of 10 years imprisonment and a subsequent payment of one million euros, Andic was released from detention. The case has significantly impacted the Mango group.
The 45-year-old is now fully focused on his legal defense.
