Technical problems at Eurovision: The spiritual response of the Czech delegation delighted

During the Saturday final performance of the Czech representative Daniel Žižka at the Eurovision Song Contest, technical problems occurred during the live transmission. Viewers on screens often noticed image disturbances, short transmission freezes and unclear camera angles. At one point, a cameraman was visible in the transmission, which further highlighted the problems.

The situation was commented on live by long-time Eurovision commentator Graham Norton, who accompanied the event with humor: “Did the cameraman fall?” He suggested in his recognizable style that “something is wrong with the camera,” which further highlighted the problems to viewers across Europe. “Vocally excellent performance, but there were a few technical problems that did not occur at any of the rehearsals,” Norton concluded.
