These individuals included prosecutors Tanja Frank Eler, Matej Oštir, and Marjana Grašič. The government, under the leadership of Robert Golob, was notified of this candidate list in the same month. Subsequently, the government authorized the Ministry of Justice to transmit the nominations to the relevant European Union institutions for review.
This sequence of actions culminated in the formal designation of a temporary European Public Prosecutor. The appointment of Ms. Frank Eler ensures continuity in the function until the full selection process for a permanent replacement is concluded by the relevant bodies.
