Future government partners have not yet presented their resignation, but Janša announced that they would begin talks on the resignation of the government today. The government swearing-in is expected to take place no later than two weeks. If the SDS leader follows this deadline, he could submit the list of candidates to the DZ this week.
If he does so at the beginning of the week, hearings of ministerial candidates before the competent working bodies of the DZ could already take place towards the end of the week. Candidates must first present themselves for three days and no later than seven days after submitting their candidacy. In the vote, MPs vote on the list of candidates for ministers as a whole.
