A man is in serious but stable condition following a collision in an industrial zone early this morning. Dozens of car enthusiasts were present at the scene when the incident occurred. According to reports, a couple was standing on the roadway as two vehicles were sliding past them.
The man, 36 years old, was suddenly struck by a car following the couple’s wedding. He sustained severe head injuries and was transported to a local hospital by emergency services. As of this report, the man’s condition is listed as serious but stable.
Medical staff are providing ongoing care. Following the collision, the driver fled the scene without offering assistance to the injured man. Most of the attendees at the unorganized gathering quickly departed prior to police arrival.
Law enforcement subsequently located and apprehended the fleeing driver. An arrest has been made.
