Slovenian text: Slovenian woman traveled almost 3000 kilometers through Montenegro: ‘I would go again right away’

Ana Colja recently completed a significant motorcycle adventure through the mountainous regions of Montenegro. The trip, undertaken with friends, maintained a tradition of yearly group excursions, with Montenegro being the chosen destination this year. Over an eight-day period, the group traveled nearly 3,000 kilometers, opting for routes that bypassed major thoroughfares.

The journey through Montenegro allowed the participants to experience varied landscapes, observe wildlife, and navigate unexpected logistical challenges. According to Ana Colja, the experience was the most rewarding route she has ever traveled. The concept for the trip developed as part of a regular team ritual.

While the group typically narrows down destination options based on prevailing weather conditions, Montenegro emerged as the preferred location for this year’s outing. The journey to the destination involved driving through the mountains, which provided scenic views alongside the excellent road infrastructure. Ana Colja shared that the combination of challenging terrain and natural beauty made the adventure memorable.

The trip highlighted the appeal of exploring less-traveled paths within the Balkan region, offering a distinct contrast to more conventional travel itineraries.
