Slovener stole a “ship’s gun” in Mali Lošinj

Police officers from the Mali Lošinj Police Station, operating through a branch in Cres, conducted an investigation concerning a theft that occurred in the center of Mali on the Riva. The incident took place on July 20th of this year. Authorities have detained a 24-year-old Slovenian national in connection with the crime.

The suspect is suspected of stealing a replica of a naval gun, an item that resulted in an estimated loss of 1500 euros to a 48-year-old Croatian citizen. During the course of the criminal investigation, the stolen “top” was successfully recovered and returned to its rightful owner. Furthermore, the police discovered evidence suggesting that the 24-year-old suspect was assisted by another Slovenian citizen, who remains a subject of the search.

The detained suspect has been held in custody pending further proceedings, and a formal criminal complaint has been filed with the competent state prosecutor. The police continue their efforts to locate the accomplice involved in the theft.
