The width of the narrowed belts under inspection

Inspections Underway on Slovenian Road Closure Project

Inspectors from the Infrastructure Inspectorate are currently conducting assessments of road closures along several sections of Slovenian highways, including Postojna, Rebernica, Kozina, Domžale, Krtina, and Slovenske Bistrice. The inspections, which began yesterday and continue today, are focused on measuring the widths of narrowed lanes during traffic disruptions. The work is being carried out in collaboration with DARS (the Slovenian Highway Company), with DARS personnel ensuring safe access and a clear roadway for the inspectors.

Measurements are planned for sections near Postojna, Kozina, Domžale, Krtina, and will extend to Slovenske Bistrice next week. The primary objective of the inspections is to verify that the road closures align with design specifications prepared by the project designers. DARS received these elaborations today.

OZS, a business organization, has expressed concerns regarding the timing of the inspections, citing the presence of numerous workplaces in the immediate vicinity. The results of the inspections are pending. —
