Stolen BMW Recovered on Mureș Motorway
Police officers with the Police Station for Compensatory Measures in Murska Sobota, Romania, recovered a stolen BMW i5 on Friday, October 27th, on the Mureș motorway near Pinca. The vehicle was found attached to a trailer as part of a convoy being transported by a Romanian national. According to the Police Department (PU) Murska Sobota, the BMW, valued at approximately 70,000 euros, had been reported stolen.
Authorities were alerted to the vehicle’s presence and its connection to the theft. A Romanian citizen involved in the transport of the vehicle is scheduled to face a criminal complaint filed by the competent state prosecutor. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are pending.
The recovered BMW is currently being processed by law enforcement. No further information was available at the time of this report.
