Poll Shows SDS Leading in Projected Voter Support
Recent polling data indicates that if elections were held today, the Slovenian Democratic Union (SDS), led by Janez Janša, would garner the most public support, with nearly 28% of respondents expressing a preference. The Freedom Movement, headed by Robert Golob, follows closely with approximately 27% support. New Slovenia – Christian Democrats currently holds around 8% of the projected voter support, while the Social Democratic Party and the alliance of Levica and Vesna each receive approximately 6% of the public’s backing.
Anže Logar’s Democrats are projected to secure less than 3% of the vote, and Stevanović’s Truth party receives less than 4%. The Shift party is anticipated to attract less than 3% of voters, and support for other political entities remains fragmented, representing roughly 5% of the electorate. Analysis of the data reveals a slight lean towards left-wing parties in aggregate, with their combined support marginally exceeding that of right-wing parties.
However, no single political bloc is projected to achieve a majority in the upcoming elections. The findings suggest a continued stability in voter preferences, with voters unlikely to significantly alter their choices.
