Olimpija has confirmed that Evan Polei will not continue playing in the current season. The announcement was made through the club’s social media channels, alongside positive news concerning the 30-year-old Canadian player. The Ljubljana team revealed that Polei has returned to his home country, where he and his wife are anticipating their first child.

This joyous occasion marks a significant milestone for the couple. Despite this personal development, Polei’s contributions to the season have been considerable, amassing 21 points. Furthermore, Bine Mašič, a key member of the squad and the seventh most productive player in terms of points, has added nine more.
