The Slovenian women’s tennis team is preparing for the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals Europe, scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The team roster includes Veronika Erjavec (100th WTA), Kajo Juvan (104th WTA), Tamara Zidanšek (127th WTA), Dalila Jakupović (379th WTA), and Niko Radišić (803th WTA). Training sessions will commence on Sunday with Erjavec, Zidanšek, and Alja Senica initially participating in Portorož.
Juvan will join the team later that evening. Jakupović and Radišić will arrive at the beginning of next week to focus on doubles play. A formal press conference is planned for Wednesday, followed by the draw on Thursday.
The team’s first matches are set to take place on Friday and Saturday.
