Multiple Vehicle Collision Causes Traffic Disruptions Near Konjice Motorway
A traffic accident occurred yesterday, May 7, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m. near the Konjice motorway exit in Slovenia. The incident involved a total of six vehicles: two trucks, three cars, and one bus.
Preliminary investigations by the Celje police indicate that the accident was caused by the driver of the bus. The bus driver reportedly collided with a line of vehicles that were stationary ahead, resulting from the bus exceeding the adapted speed for road conditions. Five individuals sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
According to police reports, all injuries were classified as minor. Following the incident, the bus driver is scheduled to face prosecution for causing the traffic accident.
