Two military EA-18G aircraft were involved in a mid-air collision during the final day of the Gunfighter Skies air show in Idaho yesterday. Following the collision, all four crew members exited the aircraft, which subsequently crashed. A representative from the U.S.
Air Force confirmed that the crew members landed safely using parachutes. The source stated that their condition was stable and that they were assessed by medical personnel. Separately, a fire occurred approximately three kilometers from the Mountain Home air base, leading to a temporary closure of the facility.
Due to the incident, the remainder of the air show was canceled. An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
