Significant Number of E-Vignettes Set to Expire in June
A substantial number of e-vintage vignettes are scheduled to expire throughout June, according to data released by Dars. The expirations are primarily focused on annual e-vignettes, with a significant wave occurring in the initial weeks of the month. Specifically, approximately 103,912 vignettes will expire on June 5th, followed by 44,922 on June 4th and 16,129 on June 3rd.
The expiration trend continues throughout June, with 20,648 annual e-vintages expiring during the last week of May, and a further 213,342 in the first week of June. An additional 54,425 annual e-vintages are projected to expire in the second week of June. E-vignettes, which are essential for motorway use in Austria, can only be purchased through official sales channels, including online platforms operated by Petrol, ASFINAG, and ADAC.
Dars has cautioned against the resale of unauthorized e-vintage products. Purchasers can also acquire e-vintages at authorized dealers located at physical sales points and through DARS (DarsGo) services at various locations across Slovenia, including Ljubljana, Maribor, Obrežje, Fernetiči, Gruškovje, and Hrušica. The free mobile application, “V for e-vintage,” is available for iOS and Android devices to facilitate purchase and management of these June vignettes.
