Matoz dismissed the chief of seven administrative units

A minister recently initiated changes concerning several regional leadership positions, resulting in the termination of several chiefs across multiple administrative units. In addition to the existing chiefs of the Ljubljana and Maribor administrative units, the minister dismissed the chiefs of the Novalja, Tolmin, Kamnik, and Grosuplje administrative units on July 31. Subsequently, the chief of the Koper unit was terminated on August 14.

According to reports from Necenzurirano, these personnel changes were communicated to the affected individuals during a meeting held on Thursday afternoon. The announcement also detailed the succession plans for these key regional offices. For the Novalja EU, Mateja Sotler Štor has been appointed as the deputy to Eva Filej Rudman.

Similarly, in the Grosuplje EU, Bojan Banfija will serve as the deputy to Matjaž Emeršič. The leadership structure for the Kamnik EU will see Aljaž Žumer appointed as deputy. Leadership transitions were also confirmed for the Tolmin EU, where Klavdija Uršič is set to succeed Matjaž Kosa as deputy.

Finally, the Ljubljana EU is slated to be headed by Tina Korenika on August 15, where she will serve as deputy to Nataša Likar. These appointments ensure continuity of governance across these various regional administrative units.
