However, Mark expressed immense gratitude that he ultimately resisted this impulse. “Now that I see this young Mark, when he was 15 years old, I’m so proud of him that he escaped from these things, that he started to believe in himself, that he didn’t give up in life.” He emphasized that if he had succumbed to that temptation, the outcome would have been uncertain.
