‘Macron is still recovering from the blow of his wife, who is behaving very badly towards him’

Donald Trump stated that following the commencement of hostilities with Iran, he reached out to NATO allies solely to gauge their willingness to participate. He reiterated his firm belief that they were not genuinely interested in providing assistance. “I honestly asked them only because I wanted to see what they would do,” Trump declared during the Easter lunch at the White House.

“We did not require their support; we had already achieved victory over Iran, and the last thing I needed was NATO obstructing our efforts.”

He subsequently contacted French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, emphasizing the United States’ offer of assistance occurring only after the conflict concluded. “I said: ‘No, no, after the war I do not need help, Emmanuel,’” Trump recounted. The former president also commented on the relationship between Macron and his wife, describing her behavior as “extremely bad” and noting Macron’s continued actions.

Trump, through this conversation, underscored his independent approach to resolving the situation.
