Between July 7 and 9, early voting will take place, and today the deadlines for the tasks required for the referendum have started. The referendum question will be: “Do you support the adoption of Article 4 of the decree on amendments and supplements to the Decree on the regulation of traffic in the City Municipality of Ljubljana, which introduces the regulation of parking in the residential areas (Article 15a, 15b and 15c), which was adopted by the City Council of the City Municipality of Ljubljana at its meeting on March 23, 2026?” Štepanjsko naselje has 227,376 eligible voters in Ljubljana, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, as of today, in accordance with the law on electoral and referendum campaigns. For the success of the referendum, the initiators must achieve a rejection quorum.
According to the law on the referendum and the people’s initiative, the deadline for the referendum is July 10.
