Accordion Enthusiast Attempts World Record Endurance Play
Robert Goter is undertaking a new attempt to break the world record for continuous accordion playing, following a previous effort that garnered attention for its dedication and skill. In April of last year, Goter successfully completed 58 hours, 21 minutes, and 24 seconds of playing, surpassing the Slovenian record. However, the global record stands at over 80 hours.
Goter intends to build upon his previous achievement, highlighting themes of endurance, discipline, and commitment to music. He also aims to promote Slovenian folk music on an international stage. Significant changes are planned across all aspects of the project, with a key focus on psychological support.
A dedicated team of experts is involved, including nutritionist Leon Bedrač and psychotherapist Neža Đoržić. The attempt will be conducted under the strict guidelines established by Guinness World Records, ensuring precise conditions for observation and verification. Goter’s ambition is to surpass his prior performance and further demonstrate the remarkable capabilities of sustained musical performance.
The project represents a substantial undertaking, supported by a skilled team, as he pursues recognition in the global record-playing arena.
