Former Ski Jumper Robert Kranjec Involved in Serious Traffic Accident
Robert Kranjec, a former prominent ski jumper, was seriously injured following a traffic accident last Friday. According to initial reports, the incident occurred when Kranjec was cycling on the opposite side of the road in the Radeče area. The accident involved a collision with a hedge, resulting in a fall and significant injuries to the 40-year-old.
Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting Kranjec first to the General Hospital in Jesenice and subsequently by helicopter due to the severity of his condition. Subsequent investigation revealed that Kranjec had a blood alcohol content of 1.19 mg/l, equating to approximately 2.5 percent. This information prompted the initiation of a criminal procedure against the former ski jumper.
