Kopitar predicted his last words: “Anything can happen.”

Los Angeles Kings forward Anže Kopitar reflected on his team’s final regular season game following the match. Speaking with Lakingsinsider.com, Kopitar stated that regardless of the outcome, he appreciated being involved in the game. At 38 years old, Kopitar acknowledged the Kings’ knowledge that the game held no bearing on their season’s final result.

However, he emphasized the importance of maintaining engagement on the ice. “We played hard, it was long, it was tied, we had opportunities, but we didn’t know how to take advantage of them,” Kopitar explained. The team ultimately pushed for a victory until the game’s conclusion, battling through a close contest that remained tied for much of the period.

Despite these efforts, the Kings were unable to find the net and secure a goal. Kopitar concluded by stating that while the result wasn’t desired, he valued the experience of being part of the game’s proceedings.
