How to prepare for a severe crisis? Weekly meeting of the working group

Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sports, alongside the Slovenian Chambers of Commerce (GZS, OZS, and TZS), have established a working group to address energy measures. According to a statement by Nahtigal, the group’s composition may expand to include other ministries as needed and will convene weekly. The initial discussions centered around proposals presented by Minister for the Environment, Climate and Energy, Bojan Kumer.

These proposals focused on strategies for electricity, gas, and oil sources. Nahtigal noted that the measures under consideration align with the desired trajectory. Specifically, the group is examining a bill aimed at establishing competitive electricity prices, as well as extending existing support schemes for on-site renewable energy (OVE) and solar thermal energy (SPTE).

“I am pleased with the swift response from these stakeholders,” Nahtigal stated. The working group’s formation represents a collaborative effort to implement and refine energy policies within Slovenia.
