Iran dealt a severe blow to the USA, destroying a key AWACS aircraft

Iran swiftly responded to the commencement of the US-Israeli operations. The nation initiated a barrage of missiles and drones directed at Israel, and this retaliatory action was immediately felt in American facilities throughout the Gulf. This development significantly escalated the conflict, extending it into one of the world’s most critical energy-producing areas.

Specifically, iran launched attacks against several American bases. These included installations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait. The attacks resulted in the destruction or, at a minimum, the damage of radar systems, THAAD missile defense systems, and Reaper drones.

Furthermore, the Al Udeid base in Qatar was also targeted. On Friday, according to the Wall Street Journal, iran’s missiles and drones impacted the Prince Sultan airbase in Saudi Arabia. This airbase, situated approximately 96 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, is operated by the Saudi air force but is not directly under its control.

The swift action by iran underscores the gravity of the situation and its impact on global security.
