Instructor of diving disappeared in Croatia: he did not return to the surface after the sinking

The southern neighbors have been conducting a large-scale search for a 26-year-old diving instructor who disappeared during an organized diving trip on the island of Lokrum near Dubrovnik, writes Net.hr. They are searching for him from the air, from the sea and from below, and several private and official vehicles are participating in the search. Around 30 divers are scouring the seabed for him.

Yesterday they searched until dusk, then the search was halted overnight, said Captain Mato Kekez of the Dubrovnik port authority. The search, coordinated by the Dubrovnik diving harbor authority, is expanding today towards the west. “We will expand the search to Grebene, Kalamota and Mljet.

In the morning we will search with the help of a Pilatus plane, and we will also have firefighting divers specialized in depths, and diving divers specialized in depths,” said Kekez.
