He raced with Porsche and posted a video, and the police officers visited him

On May 15, a Porsche owner was observed repeatedly exceeding the posted speed limit of 130 km/h while driving on the A7 motorway near Portes-lès-Valence in the south of France. The individual recorded his actions during these maneuvers using a mobile phone and subsequently uploaded the resulting video to TikTok. According to reports, the footage quickly drew the attention of a motorcycle patrol unit operating in the area of Valence.

Investigators were able to utilize the details visible within the uploaded video to identify the person responsible for the reckless driving. More than two months after the incident, the driver was apprehended and detained based on the evidence he had himself posted online. Authorities also seized the vehicle.

The young man, identified as a 22-year-old French national, now faces potential legal penalties. These charges include a fine of up to 3,750 euros and a potential prison sentence of up to one year.
