Carniolan police handled two separate incidents involving a 22-year-old driver on different occasions. The first incident occurred after 3:00 p.m., when the police responded to a traffic accident involving a vehicle that left the roadway. A passenger sustained injuries during the crash.
Upon investigation, police discovered that the 22-year-old driver was operating the vehicle without a valid license and was found to be intoxicated, registering a blood alcohol level of 0.34 mg/l. According to the Kranj Police Department, medical personnel provided immediate on-site assistance, and the driver was subsequently transported to a medical facility, where the police issued a fine. A second incident was reported on Friday evening, after 10:00 p.m.
On this occasion, police again dealt with the 22-year-old driver after his vehicle crashed into a concrete fence. This driver was also found to be drunk, with an alcohol reading of 1.270 mg/l. Furthermore, drug testing conducted by the police returned positive results.
In both instances, the police collected detailed reports regarding the traffic accidents. Authorities confirmed that the case files will be forwarded to the competent state prosecutor for further action.
