Opposition Parties Justify Formation of Working Groups
The parliamentary groups of Svoboda, SD, and Levice and Vesna have clarified their support for the establishment of the proposed working groups. This position was previously articulated during a meeting of temporary parliamentary group leaders prior to the opening session of the National Assembly. The groups expressed criticism towards parties on the right of the political spectrum, alleging they had initially opposed the creation of these working groups during the inaugural session of the DZ.
Now, they claim the establishment has become a priority, leading to a postponement of a planned consultation with parliamentary group leaders. The initial consultation was scheduled for today, subsequently moved to Friday, and now slated for Monday. Furthermore, the groups voiced opposition to a proposed division of chairs within the working groups among parliamentary parties.
They argued this allocation does not reflect the results of the recent elections. The formation of these working groups, intended to support the work of the National Assembly, remains a point of contention within the political landscape. The groups continue to advocate for the establishment of these delovnih teles and maintain their stance against the current proposed structure of the poslanskih teles.
