The Boston Celtics began the second half of their season with a dominant performance, securing a victory over the New York Knicks. Following a high-scoring 53-point win against the Miami Heat two nights prior, the Celtics continued their strong start, scoring 43 points in the first quarter and making eight of seventeen three-point attempts. At halftime, Boston held a comfortable lead, with a score of 75-55.

This win solidified the Celtics’ second-place position in the Eastern Conference, extending their winning streak to five games out of the last six. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls with a decisive 136-96 score. OG Anunoby led the Knicks with 31 points and eight rebounds, supported by Jalen Brunson who contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Mitchell Robinson added 17 points, and Karl Anthony Towns scored nine points alongside ten rebounds. The Chicago Bulls’ loss resulted in their elimination from playoff contention.
