On a pleasant June morning, a visit to this area was undertaken from the Dolenjska region. The journey commenced at the Rožnik section near the Ljubljana Zoo, where parking was available. From this point, the path proceeded approximately 200 meters toward the city center.
To the left of the main road, several marked forest trails ascend toward the higher ground, and the route selected was the designated path leading toward Rožnik. The initial part of the ascent followed a wide, well-marked macadam road. This location serves as a valuable resource for families seeking natural recreation without leaving the city limits.
