Firefighters were alerted to a fire involving a personal vehicle shortly before 9:00 PM. The vehicle, identified as having Swiss registration plates, was occupied by four individuals: a 38-year-old driver, a 38-year-old passenger, and two children. Upon arrival, responders observed that the blaze had spread from the vehicle, consuming nearby grass and bushes along the highway.
Emergency personnel immediately intervened at the scene to control and extinguish the fire. Despite the successful containment of the blaze, one firefighter sustained an injury during the intervention. Authorities confirmed that the personal vehicle was completely consumed by the fire.
Furthermore, the circumstances surrounding the incident were reported to other relevant competent services. Investigators are currently assessing the details of the traffic accident that preceded the fire. All findings gathered at the scene will be submitted to the district state prosecutor’s office in Nova Gorica for further investigation.
