Media Team Volunteers Support Slovenian Health Resort’s Park Preservation

Employees from a local media house participated in a volunteer effort to maintain the Youth Health Resort and Red Cross Youth Resort in Debeli rtič, Slovenia. The resort, situated on the Slovenian coast between vineyards and within a meticulously maintained Mediterranean park, is a significant feature of the region. The park itself encompasses approximately 14 hectares and boasts a diverse collection of plant life.

More than 4,500 plants, representing over 230 species from across the globe, are cultivated within the area. This includes a variety of aromatic herbs, medicinal plants, and nectar-producing flora. Maintaining the park’s health is crucial for creating a favorable microclimate and supporting the overall well-being of the resort.

Recognizing this, the media team dedicated a second year to assisting with preservation efforts. Volunteers, identifiable in red shirts bearing the inscription “I always come to help,” spent the day contributing to the upkeep of this valuable green space. The initiative highlights a commitment to supporting the resort and its unique natural environment.
