David Amaro celebrated at the international festival Biser Jadrana

David Amaro has been named the winner of the third edition of the international music festival Biser Jadrana. Competing as the sole representative of Slovenia, Amaro faced performances from artists hailing from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. The selection process involved a jury panel of 164, which narrowed the initial pool of songs down to 25 finalists.

Ultimately, Amaro’s original song, “Sine, javi se,” garnered the most votes from both the expert jury and the audience. Following the announcement of the victory, David Amaro expressed his surprise and gratitude. “I honestly didn’t expect to win,” Amaro stated.

He added that because he had applied for the festival at the last minute, the achievement felt particularly significant. Furthermore, he noted the weight of his victory as the only Slovenian participant among a field of highly skilled performers from across the entire region. The success marks a notable achievement for David Amaro at the Biser Jadrana festival.

His performance and song resonated with both the judging panel and the public, securing him the top position in a competitive regional showcase.
