In a match held in the capital of Montenegro, the home team managed to score first despite the Slovenians holding a 2-3 lead after the initial five minutes. Aleks Vlah scored the opening two goals of the contest from seven meters. The Slovenians maintained their advantage in the subsequent minutes, extending their lead to +3 in the 16th minute with a goal by Klemn Horž.

Shortly after, the defense of Uroš Zoranman secured four goals. Domen Tajnik scored the first of these goals in the 21st minute, bringing the score to 8-13 and prompting the Slovenian coach to call a temporary stoppage. Janc scored a goal that marked Slovenia’s third consecutive goal, increasing the lead to +6.

Although the action on the field was significant, the spectators were notably subdued. Nevertheless, in the 25th minute, the home team registered their first goal.
