Born in a rescue vehicle, then sirens sounded before air attack

The rescue team recognized the pregnant woman was in labor, noting the increasing frequency of her contractions. A potential birth en route was immediately apparent. Elad Pas, a rescuer, recounted the critical moment when the 23-year-old began delivering in the rescue vehicle during their journey to the maternity hospital.

It quickly became evident that the time constraints would prevent a timely arrival. “We observed the labor’s progression and, consequently, proceeded with the birth within the rescue vehicle,” Pas explained. The situation demanded immediate action.

Fortunately, the birth progressed smoothly, and the newborn baby was safely delivered. Following the delivery, the rescue team diligently cleaned and examined the mother, stabilizing her condition. However, amidst this, sirens wailed throughout the city, signaling an imminent air attack.

Rescuers then received a critical alert on their phones – a missile had been launched from Iran, actively moving towards its target.
