Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 39, have a history of professional collaboration, having previously worked together in the theater.
They appeared together in the play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea in 2020, and also starred in the film Black Bear in 2020. Currently, Abbott is performing on Broadway in Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. Plaza recently experienced a personal loss, having grieved the death of her husband, director and screenwriter Jeff, earlier this year.
