Four Austrian Citizens Killed in Medulin Plane Crash

A fatal plane crash occurred near Medulin, Istria, on Thursday around 11:20, resulting in the deaths of four Austrian citizens. The State Prosecutor’s Office in Pula has confirmed the fatalities. The deceased were aged 40, 48, 58, and 65.

Following the crash, authorities initiated an examination and autopsy of the bodies to determine the cause of the accident. Investigators from the Air, Sea and Rail Transport Accident Investigation Agency, alongside officers from the Istrian Police Directorate, are currently undertaking a comprehensive investigation into all relevant circumstances surrounding the event. The Deputy District State Prosecutor, on duty with the District State Prosecutor’s Office in Pula, is also involved in the inquiry.
