A fatal accident occurred on the Ternana 79 state road following a frontal collision involving a bus and an apartment structure. Reports confirm that multiple people were killed in the incident. Initially, four people died, comprising two drivers and two passengers.
Furthermore, two additional people died inside the apartment building; one of these victims was identified as a tourist who was returning from the Terni area. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, transporting several injured individuals to various medical facilities. Three critically injured people were airlifted by rescue vehicles to the Terni hospital, though one of these individuals later succumbed to their injuries.
