Authorities stated that two police officers were engaged in a procedure that was conducted in adherence to established rules and regulations. During the course of this operation, a resident from a Romani settlement reportedly reacted with violence, resulting in a physical assault on one of the officers and the use of a tear gas canister. Following the incident, the Mayor of Novo Mesto, Gregor Macedoni, immediately contacted representatives from the police force and the district state prosecutor’s office.
