The founder of Zare will be paid a record 3.23 billion profit

Spanish fashion leader Inditex, encompassing brands like Zara, Bershka, and Stradivarius, will distribute an additional 4% profit to investors this year, reflecting strong performance over the past twelve months. Last year, Amancio Ortega, who will celebrate his 90th birthday in March, collected 3.1 billion euros in dividends. His net worth is currently estimated at 126.7 billion dollars – approximately 110 billion euros – positioning him within the top fifteen wealthiest individuals globally.

Inditex, operating with 5,460 stores across more than 90 nations and supporting over 160,000 employees, experienced a 3.2% sales rise to 39.9 billion euros as of January 31st. Furthermore, profit before taxes saw a 5.8% increase, reaching 8 billion euros, according to reports from the Guardian. The company’s flagship Zara location in Madrid remains the largest store worldwide.
