A 15-year-old student is in custody following a knife attack at a school in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. The incident occurred in a school corridor where the suspect, who was released from custody, attacked a fourth-year student in January. The victim, a girl with no prior connection or conflict with the attacker, sustained injuries to her face and back.
According to Delo reports, the perpetrator had been participating in a reformatory program for a period ranging from one to three years prior to the attack. A minor is defined as an individual up to the age of 18. During the assault, the student managed to escape after the attacker was momentarily distracted holding a mobile phone.
The student live-streamed the attack to a correspondent in Budapest via her phone. Following the incident, the suspect fled the school and was apprehended shortly thereafter by police. The investigation was led by the police and extended to the M… area.
