The orange dragons confirmed the first reinforcement: Sebastian Sablatnig is coming

Ljubljana’s ‘Orange Dragons’ Secure 22nd National Championship

Ljubljana’s volleyball team, the ‘Orange Dragons,’ have secured their 22nd national championship title. The victory reflects the team’s sustained success and the dedication of its players. Key to the team’s triumph was the performance of middle blocker Sebastian Sablatnig, an Austrian representative.

Sablatnig, 198cm tall, previously spent three seasons with UVC Holding from Graz, a team consistently ranked third in the senior league. Young player Luka Korošec, a descendant of Carinthian Slovenes and fluent in Slovenian, also played for SK Zadruga Dob, currently ranked third in the Austrian second-tier league. The team anticipates Korošec’s continued contribution.

Several existing players are expected to remain with the team for the upcoming season, including Sablatnig, who brings familiarity from his previous role as a coach for ACH Volley’s Dob team in Carinthia. The ‘Orange Dragons’’ championship win marks a significant achievement for the club and its supporters.
