Radiologist Rupreht leaves Maribor’s UKC: he also worked at SB Ptuj at the same time

A three-person panel determined that radiologist Mitja Rupreht engaged in concurrent employment with the Maribor Clinical Center alongside roles at SB Ptuj and Digital Imaging Diagnostics Ptuj. The investigating body asserted that Rupreht’s actions constituted a breach of labor regulations, alongside violations of the law governing healthcare activities and the contract law. “I will not address the specifics of the investigation at this time, owing to legal and private considerations,” Rupreht stated to TV Slovenia.

He refuted the control’s allegations and indicated he’d already responded to his employer’s concerns. Rupreht clarified to the supervisory commission that multiple contractors operated simultaneously, stemming from an error within the timekeeping records. The panel ultimately deemed these assertions untenable.

Consequently, the UKC Maribor did not find evidence supporting the initial claims against rupreht. The situation involved overlapping employment arrangements for the radiologist across multiple entities in Ptuj.
