Hungarian Car Involved in Overturn on Slovenian Forest Road

The Nova Gorica Police Office responded to an incident on Friday at 2:18 pm involving a Toyota car with Hungarian license plates that had overturned on a forest path between Planina Lom and Planina Razor. The area is subject to a traffic closure indicated by a posted sign. According to police reports, the car had become lodged on the roadside edge, presenting a risk of sliding down a steep slope.

The Tolmin Voluntary Fire Brigade (PGD) was immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters utilized technical equipment to stabilize the situation and successfully maneuver the car back onto the designated traffic route. The area was secured following the operation.

Subsequently, Tolmin police issued a payment order to the 60-year-old driver, who is Hungarian, for violating Road Traffic Regulations. The specific violation relates to disregarding the established traffic restrictions in the area. Authorities confirmed the incident involved a Hungarian car and highlighted the importance of adhering to posted road signage.
