Oslo – Remains of 25-Year-Old Found Following Suicide
The remains of Edward Juul Rod-Larsen were discovered in Oslo on Wednesday, following his death by suicide. The incident occurred amidst an ongoing investigation involving his parents, diplomat Terje Rod-Larsen and former ambassador Mone Juul. The Norwegian and French police initiated a joint investigation several days prior, prompted by reports concerning the estate of Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein had reportedly left a total of 10 million dollars to Edward Juul Rod-Larsen and his twin sister, Emma Juul Rod-Larsen. This sum was identical to that bequeathed to Epstein’s assistant, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for human trafficking. Maxwell’s conviction stemmed from allegations linked to her association with Epstein and the accusations against him involving numerous individuals.
Edward and Emma Juul Rod-Larsen have not been formally accused of any wrongdoing. Authorities are continuing their inquiries, focusing on the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s estate and its impact. The investigation remains active, and further details are expected to emerge.
