Slovenian Blues Band, Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa, Announces School-Style Concert

Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa, a highly regarded Slovenian blues band, are set to perform, drawing attention for their unique approach to the genre. Described as one of the most dedicated groups in Slovenia, the band’s singer, Tit Potecin, noted their significant following, stating, “I have listened to them more than ten times since Cvetličarna, Kina Šiška, I have been to Jazz Club.”

Ahead of the concert, the band members indicated a commitment to sharing their expertise, promising a “school of old-school music” where they would demonstrate techniques to aspiring musicians. The group, comprised of experienced professors of blues music, emphasized their independent creative process.

Members of Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa clarified that the band’s statements are self-generated. They explained, “We wrote it by other people, other media houses, and we don’t stand behind it. We just like to play and enjoy it.” To enhance their performance, the band collaborated with musicians Ian and Sandie.

Trumpet player and musical guest, shared a lighthearted anecdote, stating, “From now on, I simply talk to Ian in the car when we go to the rehearsals, that he says to me: ‘Always say that at the same traffic light.’” The concert promises a showcase of traditional blues styles and a dedication to the art form.
