Netanjahu is being treated for prostate cancer

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor during recent routine medical examinations following prostate surgery. According to a statement shared on X, doctors identified a small, early-stage tumor during check-ups conducted after successful treatment for an enlarged benign prostate. Netanyahu said the treatment “eliminated the problem and left no trace of it.” He initially underwent prostate surgery in 2024 to address the enlarged prostate diagnosis.

He is currently under regular medical supervision. The prime minister requested a delay in the release of his medical report to avoid potential exploitation during the ongoing conflict with Iran. He stated this decision was intended to “prevent Tehran from spreading more false propaganda against Israel.”

Netanyahu described the tumor as “a ‘tiny dot, smaller than a centimeter.’” He emphasized that this discovery occurred during a routine check-up following his initial prostate surgery.

The situation is being monitored closely by medical professionals.
