The Ministry of Finance holds the top position regarding the monetary value of consulting, legal, and contractual agreements finalized across the past eight years. A total of 2.7 million euros was spent through these contracts. Despite this leadership in contract value, the ministry wasn’t the primary payer.
The Ministry of Finance itself disbursed only 967.5 thousand euros. Notably, two other ministries – the judiciary and the health sector – exceeded a million euros in payments. Concerning the volume of contracts, the Ministry of Health distinguished itself with a substantial 47 consulting agreements.
Conversely, the Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, alongside the Ministry of Infrastructure, utilized the fewest consultants during this eight-year period. The relevant ministries provided data detailing the number and specifics of their consulting contracts over the last eight years. Out of the 19 ministries assessed, four had not submitted contract amounts by the time the article was released: the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
These figures represent the total expenditure in euros for all government contracts.
